AND WE ARE BACK!

OK OK!!! I know it has been forever since I updated this blog and I think of all the things I should post about that it makes me not want to do it. Maybe I'll just do pictures!!!
Pretty much we had an amazing summer! In April, my little sister got married to Daniel and they lived happily ever after. She looked so beautiful! I am going to be a wreck when my kids get married, I don't know how moms do it. Anyway, then we went to our favorite city, New York and had an amazing time! We spent A LOT of time at the pool and then we went on a family vacation with the Clark side of the family to New Port Beach and on our way there we found out that we are PREGNANT, after trying for 7 months!!!!! Here are some pictures of this summer :)

We decided to do take this tour bus and it was the best idea EVER! We had it for 3 days and 2 nights and that's how we got to all the places we wanted to go. So worth it!

Obsessed with these two!

General Conference

I'm so excited to be able to watch and listen to conference this weekend. My soul needs it and I can't even wait!!
David and I are taking an institute class together: "Teachings of the Living Prophets" and we absolutely love it. I cry almost every time, I think it may be a mom things. I use to never cry so much, but I'm so emotional now. We love our teacher, Brother Sacket, he is so amazing! We feel the spirit so strong every time we go. I am so very glad that it worked out for us to be able to attend to institute. Highly recommend it!!!!
On Wednesday we talked about conference and the things we can do to get ready. Our teacher challenged us to write down questions and promised us that we will get answers to them during conference. I wrote down a lot of them. I feel like this semester has been extra hard so that I could really learn to rely on my Heavenly Father. It's been really really hard but I have learned a lot.
Hear what Pres. Monson say about the importance of conference by clicking here
I hope you all have an amazing conference weekend!!!! I feel like I'm just mumbling and not making much sense, lortab makes me weird!!!!

Love,

Estefi

Implants

I can't believe I am actually blogging!!! I'm really exciting to start doing this again, hopefully I will stick to it this time.
Tomorrow I start the process of getting an implant on my top left molar. My molar is going to be pulled out and I will get a skin graph to make the whole smaller. Then, in three months I'll get this done...
It's going to be a looooong process and I'm scared. I know it's not a huge surgery or anything but it still scares me. When I was looking for a picture to post I couldn't even look for very long because I started to feel sick. Anything that has to do with teeth and the mouth makes my stomach twist and I get light headed. Last week the oral surgeon was showing and giving me different options of what they could do instead of the implant and I had to ask him to stop showing them to me because I started to feel really sick. I'm glad I'll be completely out tomorrow.
My awesome hubby gave me a blessing tonight and I feel better now.
I'll be without a tooth for three months...

Other than that life is great!!! I love my boys so much and I hope that in 3-4 months I'll be expecting another Clark baby. I want to get pregnant so extremely bad! Nico needs a little brother or sister and I need another baby to keep me up all night :)
Nico is growing so much and so fast. He makes us so happy! He is into climbing everything! His words are:
ball
mas (more)
bien (good)
comer (eat)
toys
agua (water)
dai (daddy)
maaaaaaaa (mami)
abu (grandma)
amen
and a WHOLE LOT of baby talk! He can talk my ear out. he loves answering my phone, he's my little secretary. I just can't believe how big he is getting. STOP GROWING. this is the funnest and hardest stage. he still likes to cuddle and give besos (kisses). i have two, very lovable boys and i'm loving it.

Another year has gone by................

Happy New Year everyone! I have so much to catch up on and don't even know where to start. I'm still thinking of my new year resolutions! One of them will be to update my blog and get caught up ASAP! Once I have them written up in my journal, I will share them here.
I hope this year is better than 2010 and that we will be blessed with a baby! I guess we will see soon, hopefully! I turned 25 in a week...I'M GETTING OLD! I'm usually really excited about my birthday, but I'm not so sure this year.
David and I start school on Wednesday. I'm already getting butterflies in my stomach. It's been two years since I've gone to school. I hope everything goes well. I have two years to finish my major before the change the program I'm in, so I have no choice but to go full time for the next two years and finish! Poor Nico, I'm going to have to leave him :'( I have cried just thinking about leaving him. Luckily, it won't be too bad. But he is always with me, he's my little buddy. Can I just bring him to school with me? It'll make it more fun for everyone!
Anyway, I'll put up pictures and stuff later. Hope you're all doing good and that you have an awesome year!!!
Loves,
Fifers

Daddy's Home!!!!

STEP 1:

STEP 2:

This is one of my many favorite times of the day, when David comes home. Nico gets SOOOO excited!

Oh how I love these two boys! They know how to make mami smile :) It's so fun to watch them play together!
Nico is walking everywhere! That's all he wants to do all day, it's very cute! He also loves to smile and show all of his teeth. It melts my heart! I need to get a picture of him doing that!

**

Not much has happened this week, but here is what we've done.
On Tuesday, Nico and I drove to Grand Island. It is a two and a half hour drive east of North Platte. I had to go for my final eye check up. I LOVE my doctor and the ladies that work in that office.
(The third guy on the right in white is my doctor)
From the very beginning they have treated me so well and have done everything to fix my infection and all of the other problems. The cause of my eye infection is that I sleep with my eyes semi opened so it dries my eyes out causing the infection. I have to now use a special solution and a special contact case and put on a gel inside of my eye every night. I'll probably have to do that the rest of my life! Yipeeee! :)
Anyway, I wanted to do something really nice for everyone at the office and so I got them a huge cookie, at this awesome cookie shop, with eyes on it and it said "Thank You." It looked soo good! They loved it and where so happy! They love Nico and we just love going there!
The hardest part about living in different towns here is that we've met amazing people everywhere we've been and it's been hard knowing that I might never see them again.
Other than that we've been playing with the other kids and it's been really fun! The hotel people let us play in the conference room they have, the kids can go crazy!
I love the wives here, they are so fun! I wish the ones that have left us would come back! They are all great and I have learned a lot from them!
Today, Whitney, June (her gorgeous two month old girl), Nico and I drove to Kearney (an hour and a half east of here) to go shopping. Whit had a great coupon for Old Navy and Gap. We got some really good deals! I got Nico lots of winter clothes and his halloween costume. He is going to be a....SHARK! I'm so excited!

I miss living in Kearney, it's so much more nice and more things to do. Oh well, it's probably a good thing that we are not there. They have too many shopping temptations :)
I loved hanging out with Whit and June.
June is such a good baby! I only heard her cry twice when she was hungry and that was it! I miss those baby days.

I have loved being here this summer! We've had awesome and horrible experiences. We've met amazing and mean people at the same time. All in all it's been great! I can't believe we didn't do it before. It's been so nice to be able to pay all of our debt off! I highly recommend it! :)
Hope everyone's week has been as good as ours!!!
HAPPY THURSDAY!

One year has gone by...Happy Birthday Baby!

I can't believe my sweet boy is already 1! It feels like it was just yesterday that I went into labor and gave birth to my beautiful Nico.

I'll never forget that day. It was a week before my due date; I had my nail and eye brow appointment and had plans to go to the pool all day with my sisters. I just wanted to be ready for the delivery day.
I remember waking up around 7:30ish to the most painful contraction. It felt like someone had stabbed me in the back, OUCH! I didn't want to wake David up, so I started to work on my breathing. The whole time I thought I was having just normal contractions, just like before. So, I started to walk back and forth from our room to Nico's room. It got to the point where I couldn't even walk anymore or even talk. I decided to wake up David so he could start timing the contractions. I was so afraid that I was going to have the LONGEST labor and didn't want to go through it laying on a bed. I tried bouncing on my big ball, taking a bath and the pain was soooooo not bearable anymore. All I remember after that is just getting ready really quick and heading down the stairs. I tried to grab something to eat because I had heard that you should eat something really big before you go to the hospital because once you get there you can't eat anything, but when I tried I about threw up. I was having back labor and sitting down was really painful. The whole 30 min drive to the hospital consisted of my hitting the dashboard and maybe saying a couple of bad words...sorry :)
When the nurse checked me I was already dilated to a 7. I wanted to go natural but the pain was too strong. I just cried till the epidural started to work its magic!
Then, before I knew it at 11:43 am on Friday, August 21st, 2009 my boy was laid on my stomach for me to take a look at him! What an AMAZING feeling that was! Words can't even explain that feeling. You just feel amazing all around: physically, emotionally, and spiritually!
I have LOVED every minute of this journey! I remember a lot of people told me that I should send him to the nursery the first night so that I could sleep. But I just couldn't do it! What if he needed me and I wasn't there?! Even now I have a hard time leaving him. It's really not even an option for us to leave him. We have a lot more fun when the three of us are together.

**

I was sooo excited for Nico's birthday! I woke up early on Saturday and waited for him to wake up! He would smile so big every time someone would tell him HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
We went to dinner with the office at the Depot, pretty nice place! David got Nico's some balloons and he was so THRILLED!
We were so glad that everyone could make it! Nico had a blast!
David thought that he should cut the cake before we sang happy birthday! :) Good thing I caught him in the middle of it.
Jenny made Nico this awesome chucho string. He loves it! Thank you so much!
ADORABLE!
THANK YOU ALL THAT CAME TO DINNER AND FOR THE GIFTS! YOU MADE NICO'S BIRTHDAY AN AWESOME ONE!

Since David had to work all day Saturday, we decided we'd take Nico to a fun park on Sunday after church and a loooong nap :)
This ride was faster than what we thought. We couldn't stop laughing! Nico loved it!

We kind of met up with Whitney, Mike and their kids!
Aren't our boys soo gorgeous?!

Daddy's turn!

On our way home...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the best boy ever! We love you so so so so much and you make mami and dadda oh so very happy! We can't even imagine what life would be without you or how we went so long without you! You're the best thing that happened to us! :)
